Does not work

The first time you run the plugin it will correctly start the script. However the following times when attempting to run the script from Tasker a toast message saying QPython tasker plugin is running but the script is never run.

Actually this app is pretty good though it has limits on what it will do on metro pcs revv4 but other wise it's agoodapp to invest in for by Android tweakers.etc

Ron Farra

Doesn't work. Tasker task runs with no error but qpython doesn't execute the script.

Tarik Hayward

I can't open the app. Am I wrong???

It works. But need to hide the terminal. Please include the option to disable the terminal in tasker.

An option to not display the terminal would be nice. Collision handling is weird. Tasker cannot always execute the next script without closing the currently open terminal. Not being able to pass variables is a problem. Especially since tasker+sl4a accomplishes that for free.

Has to open the QPython app to run the task. Don't want to even know something opened (in addition to my tasker app). #qpy:qpyapp still keeps QPython app in the background. Also, as someone else noted, no way to pass variables.

The only available Python plugin for Tasker which increases flexibility of what can be automated with Android for sure! Now for what needs improvement. The terminal that launches only runs in the foreground and doesn't auto close upon completion. There is no capability to pass variables between QPython to/from Tasker directly which leaves the only option of cobbling together passing data via file(s).

Awesome plugin for combing Tasker and Python.
